This was the perfect Christmas gift for one of my loved ones. It's really easy to use and comes with detailed instructions. This kit came with basil and it grew surprisingly quick. It has a really high quality grow light and actually looks cute in the kitchen. The grow light can go taller as your plant grows. Their website also has more herbs to buy from.  Verified Foolproof Herb Garden
I was gifted this Click & Grow 3-plant herb garden in August 2022 and I've been using it ever since. I've found it to be super fun, even a little addictive. It's awesome to have fresh herbs available all the time.My plants always, always consistently grow. When they are roughly 8-12 weeks old, I transplant them into pots, where they are currently thriving. I've planted so many things -- thyme, oregano, rosemary, basil, dwarf basil, lavender. I love that I get to experiment with so many different herbs. I just started to experiment with flowers, like petunias. The pods are a bit expensive, though I do wait for sales online, so on average, I've paid $2 / pod. Which is still cheaper than when I used to compulsively buy plants outside grocery stores & hardware stores.I'm not very good at remembering to water my plants, so it's great that the Click & Grow only requires watering every 2-3 weeks. I also repot into clear self-watering pots, so that I can always visually see when I need to water them, and I also don't have to water them as often.The grow light is a little harsh to look at, and it's on 16 hours a day. Our solution was to put it in a closet. The plants don't need more light than what the grow light provides, so it's fine to keep them in a totally dark room.My only complaint is that the plant in the 3rd slot (furthest from the light) always seems to do worse than the plants in the other two slots. I suspect it might have something to do with not getting as much light as the other two spots, because the grow lamp arm is ever so slightly not long enough. I really wish they would make the grow lamp arm slightly longer.If you are looking for a foolproof way to get into gardening, this is the way.
